Doxology & Theology is a fellowship of evangelical worship leaders deeply committed to renewing our faith in the gospel of Christ and to renewing our ministry practices to conform fully to the gospel.
Doxology & Theology was founded in 2012 with our first-ever biennial conference, held at Providence Church in Frisco, TX. The message of the conference resonated with worship leaders around the country, as we focused on the supremacy of the Word of God in worship.
The eponymous book was published in early 2013, featuring essays by authors including Matt Boswell, Matt Papa, Michael Bleecker, Aaron Ivey, Stephen Miller, and more. Doxology & Theology continues to reach worship leaders with insight on how the gospel forms their ministries.
The 2014 conference was held at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and reached worship leaders around the world, including students working toward worship leadership. The conference addressed the life and labor of the worship leader, and featured voices such as Harold Best, D.A. Carson, Mike Cosper, Bob Kauflin, and more.
On November 3-5, 2016, our third Doxology & Theology Conference is returning to the campus of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Register now to attend.
