Doxology & Theology (D&T) is a fellowship of evangelical worship leaders deeply committed to the word of God and the centrality of the gospel in our worship practices. D&T exists to promote, encourage, and equip gospel-centered worship.
Doxology & Theology was founded in 2012 with our first-ever biennial conference, in Frisco, TX. The message of the conference resonated with worship leaders around the country, as we focused on the supremacy of the Word of God in worship. This first conference was followed by two others in 2014 (The Life and Labor of the Worship Leader) and 2016 (Worship Reformed). We have been overwhelmed at how many worship leaders and churches are eager to grow in their understanding and practice of gospel-centered worship. Our next conference is scheduled for the fall of 2018 at Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Our first book was published in early 2013 through Lifeway Christian Resources, featuring essays by authors including Matt Boswell, Matt Papa, Michael Bleecker, Aaron Ivey, Stephen Miller, and more. Doxology & Theology: How the Gospel Forms the Worship Leader continues to reach worship leaders with insight on how the gospel forms their ministries.
Our second book is a republishing of Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs, by Isaac Watts. This edition of Watts is the most beautiful and academic volume ever created. We hope it serves worship leaders, pastors, and hymn lovers as they use these hymns as a devotonal tool.
The D&T Podcast offers a steady stream of equipping for worship leaders and their teams.
Here you will find audio from past conferences, as well as featured interviews and content we think you will enjoy.
